Selama ini dia sendirian tak pernah berteman bila mana dia duduk di tempatnya;di hujung sudut kanan untuk melakar awan dan melontar pandangan sejauhnya. Pilot Shaker dan sketchbook di tanganlah selama ini teman setia.Namun tiba-tiba ada yang bertandang tak diundang ke jajahannya entah jatuh dari langit mana.Lari dari segala kekusutan kepala ke sini untuk kini dikusutkan semula?Dia sendiri tak pasti segala yang berlaku ini membawa petanda apa.Dia;the Jaded Jade in the Middle katanya.

Bukan pelik kalau nak dikatakan dia hidup hanya sebagai jasad bernyawa.Sebab segala yang didengar telinga itu tak bawa makna dan yang dipandang mata itu kosong tanpa warna.Dia mencari tenang damai dengan meninggalkan realiti dunia nyata,untuk tenggelam dalam fikiran sendiri di dalam kepala.Hujung sudut kiri bumbung ini,itu kawasannya.Dia;Batrisya.

Di atas bumbung Wisma Topaz segalanya bermula.Tangga lapuk masam Wisma Topaz empat tingkat itu yang mula menghubungkan hidup keduanya.Bumbung kusam yang menadah awan tanpa atap itu yang menjadi telaga damai untuk menelah persoalan yang tak pernah ada hitam putih jawapannya.Tembok batu bisu di situ yang menjadi saksi kepada seribu satu harapan dan mimpi,cerita dan bicara.

Ini cerita sebuah bicara.

Bicara bumbung namanya.

1-for those yang dh beli aA+bB,sila check pg 464 dan buat pembetulan.ada kesalahan number ayat untuk surah arRa'd kat situ.sepatutnya ayat 28,bukan 13 (jzkk cupid for pointing this out).yg 13 tu sebenarnya number surah.mungkin tersilap masa tulis.maaf yg sungguh2 dr saya tlg betulkan n bg tau org lain.

2-for those yg dapat those cards with my cacingkerawit handwriting tu,please...!!!

'aA+bB' adalah sebuah kisah perjalanan.Perjalanan bersama masa.

Semua orang belajar,semua orang membesar.Tetapi tidak semua orang menjadi dewasa....

ADDIN MENEKAN REMOTE CONTROLLER tak berhenti. Apa hal semua cerita bosan maut ni... HBO, MTV, Channel V pun bosan! Dia menjeling jam di dinding. Sembilan tiga puluh minit malam. Abang tak balik lagi. Apa hal yang lewat sangat pun malam ni? Akhirnya dia lekat di Cartoon Network. Heh! Kartun jugak yang best, tak pernahnya bosan. Encik Faudzi lebih selesa layan NST. Ma pula menolong Kak Irah mengemas dapur.

Tiba-tiba Encik Faudzi menurunkan surat khabar di tangan apabila melihat Puan Nora keluar dari dapur berjalan ke ruang tamu.

"Petang tadi Pak Cik Man dengan Mak Cik Ja datang." Suara ma terdengar di telinga.

"Mmm?" Addin angkat kening sebelah dengan mata tak beralih dari TV.

"Pak Cik Man dengan Mak Cik Ja datang."

"Tak kenal." Addin jawab malas.

"Kawan pa." Puan Nora merenung Encik Faudzi.

Mata Addin masih lekat pada Popeye.

"Dia tanyakan Didi untuk anak dia."

"Mmm..." Popeye kena penumbuk sebijik dengan Bluto.

Puan Nora dan Encik Faudzi berpandangan. "Dia cadang nak pinang Didi untuk anak dia. Addin tak ada kawan lagi, kan?" Puan Nora mencuba lagi.

"Mmm..." Allah! Olive dah kena bawak lari dek Bluto.

"Anak dia sebaya dengan Didi."

Addin angguk. Yes! Popeye dapat spinach.

"Engineer."

Addin menggigit bibir. Ish! Lagi sikit je nak kejar! Cepat la Popeye oi!

"Nama dia Benz. Benz Alif."

"Hmm... Benz Alif." Addin mengulang tanpa sedar. Hah! Bluto dah kena belasah dengan Popeye. "Hah!" Addin terangkat dari sandarnya. "Benz Alif?" dia mengulang lambat-lambat. "Benz Alif Sulaiman?" Dia berpaling lipat maut melihat ma. "Kenapa dengan dia? Apa ma kata tadi?"

Puan Nora senyum sambil geleng kepala. Orang cakap tak nak dengar. "Pak Cik Man nak pinangkan Didi untuk Benz. Didi tak ada kawan lagi, kan?" sekali lagi dia bertanya.

Addin menelan liur. Kelam mukanya.Mala petaka versi apa dia?

Story:

Strange things happen when people are put in situations out of their control, follow Ahmed�s trail of religious maturity when he stumbles upon 3 of the oddest roommates you�ll find. Turning a Quote Into Short Film: Youth Experience

Sami Haque and a group of Muslims have made a film that has been making big waves in his community. Haque received close to 1,800 downloads a month and shares the experience here. The subject of the film is death and changing your ways before it's too late. This topic is very big among the youth, who, according to Sami, are a market not touched by media.

�A man that decides to change on the 12th hour dies on the 11th.� This simple quote was first introduced to me during my high school years. I found it intriguing because like many at that age, I felt I had many promised years ahead of me, not realizing that death could hit at anytime.

During college I wanted to expand on this idea and had great hopes of turning this message into a short film. I asked Hasan Shaikh, an English major from a neighboring university, to co-write due to his experience and knowledge with film. Being new to the screenwriting or even film world, we found ourselves hitting many stops during our writing processes. We both knew what we wanted out of this film, but we knew that comedy would really bring in the audience�s attention. We decided to follow a format that would mix both serious learning moments and comedy in almost a rollercoaster effect.

Once the script was written, Hasan and I set out to find someone to direct and shoot the film, since we both had no prior experience in shooting. After much interviewing, Ross Heran, a junior film student, was chosen for the job. Ross brought a great deal of advice to make the film run smoothly and look good. We then quickly started to audition actors for the roles. What was initially planned to take a week, ended up taking much longer due to a lack of interest in many applicants. While this process went on, I collectively searched for places to shoot. Many phone calls were made and e-mails sent out to find free locations.

Once shooting began, it was one road block after another. There were times that shooting would go late into the night, scenes needed to be improved; there was even a time when we lost three hours of footage due to misplacing of the tapes. As we began to almost give up hope in ourselves, we found strength within ourselves to push this project out. When it came to editing, shooting almost seemed like a breeze. Much like a jigsaw puzzle, we began to piece together the film and have it ready to be presented. We finished the day of our deadline, which turned out to be an entertainment night held by our Muslim Student Association (MSA).

The response was electrifying. The entire audience of 300 was on their feet as the credits rolled by. Since then many have viewed and given comments on the film, ranging from �it was a great comedy� to �it really put my life into perspective.� In sha� Allah (Allah willing), we hope to be making more films in the future too, so we can reach out and give back to the Islamic community.

Matanya melata lagi meniti buih ombak pantai.Orang ramai yang lalu lalang di sepanjang pantai mengambil angin dibuat tak endah.Begitu juga dengan pandangan-pandangan pelik yang melihat seorang anak muda bersarung jeans,tee,dan selipar jepun merenung ke laut seolah menanti ikan duyung naik ke darat.

�Banyak je benda lain yang boleh diikut.�

Kata-kata itu menerjah semula telinga.

�Kita tak sedar sebenarnya masa kita kat dunia nie kejap je.�

Dan ketika itu dia hanya memandang gadis itu dengan kening terangkat sebelah.Kelam dengan topik perbincangan yang tiba-tiba berubah hala.

Gadis itu memandang jam di tangan. �Dah kena naik bas.� Lia bangun sambil mencapai backpack.Kemudian tiba-tiba terhenti.Termenung seketika.Memandang wajah Fend seolah memikir sesuatu.Kemudian membuka beg di tangan, menyelongkar mencari sesuatu.

Dan dia masih memandang gadis itu dengan kening terangkat sebelah.Masih kelam dengan perubahan tiba-tiba itu.

�Here.� Keping plastik bekas CD-R itu dihulur ke atasnya.

Dan dia masih hanya memandang dengan muka kelam.

�Saya dapat ni dari kawan.� Gadis itu menutur rendah dengan wajah tenang. �Saya cuba untuk berubah,dengan apa yang saya belajar dari ini.Mungkin boleh dapat manfaat.Macam apa yang saya rasa.�

Matanya hanya merenung keping plastik empat segi sama berwarna hijau itu.

�Take it?�

Bekas CD itu bertukar tangan.

�Pergi dulu.� Gadis itu mencapai beg bimbit di tepi kerusi.

�Thanks?� Teragak-agak dia menutur.

Gadis itu mengukir senyum nipis segaris. �The man who decided to change on the 12th hour dies on the 11th.� Dan terus menapak pergi ke atas bas yang bersusun di tempat parking.

Dah hampir seminggu di rumah baru CD itu disumbat ke dalap laptop untuk melihat isinya.

Dan sungguhlah.

Hampir sungguh rasanya cerita itu dengan diri.

Fend melepas nafas perlahan.Tangan kiri menyeluk saku jeans.Kertas kecil yang bergulung kemas dan telah siap berikat itu direnungnya.Bibir tanpa sedar mengukir senyum segaris.Seolah membaca semula apa yang ditulisnya di rumah tadi.

Gulungan kertas itu diikat pada hujung tali belon helium yang dibelinya dari penjaja tepi jalan di hujung pantai itu tadi.Entah kenapa.Terasa seolah sebagai satu simbolik untuk melepaskan sesuatu dari diri mungkin.

Pandangan sekali lagi dilontar ke tengah laut.Change on the 10th hour,Fend?

And masa halfway thru ngan material nie,my housemate pasang this indo movie �Kiamat Dah Dekat� kat umah.pastu baru terperasan cam ada ala2 la pulak.even the character�s name dekat2,Fendy-Fandy.Nk tau sbb aper nama this caharac Fend/Fendy?

Sbb i wanna rhyme it with Fender[the giant guitar brand ;p...apart from Gibson la kot]
